Sound of Football Podcast 331 - What next for City?

Have Manchester City's recent results taken some of the shine off a wonderful season for Pep Guardiola's side? Derby defeat to United to deny them their title celebrations coming days after a 3-0 loss against Liverpool in the Champions League has shown that City aren't as unstoppable as they appear.

The way City have marched almost unhindered to the Premier League title this season it is easy to imagine that they can go on to dominate the Premier League for seasons ahead like United and Liverpool in the past and Juventus, Bayern and PSG in their domestic leagues now. But being in the Premier League doesn't make things easy for anyone: no team has retained the title for nine seasons, and, with Chelsea now looking unlikely to finish in a top four position, it will be four seasons out of the last five that the Champions have gone on to fail to qualify for the Champions League the following season.

Graham, Terry and Jan look at this current City side and ask whether they have what it takes to be the dominant side in the Premier League for seasons ahead.
