Yesterday, the much awaited details of the new domestic TV bids for 2016-19 were revealed by the Premier League. A staggering £5.136 billion is going to be stumped up by Sky and BT as they continue their cross-platform battle for dominance in a war that reaches far beyond football.
Despite the Premier League's suggestion to the contrary, very little of that money will be going outside of the teams involved. Graham, Terry and Jan analyse the deal and attempt to work out what it all means now that domestic TV revenue will dwarf match day revenues at a ratio of 3:1.
